The mission of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) is to lead statewide economic development, create targeted strategies which produce better paying jobs, promote communities, and support the training and growth of a 21st Century skilled workforce. The AEDC does this primarily by working aggressively to recruit new business to our state, and working to retain our existing businesses and help them to grow and expand, creating new jobs.
AEDC’s Training and Quality Management Division offers two customized training programs, Business and Industry Training Program for new businesses, and Existing Workforce Training Program for existing or expanding businesses.
